Chairman of Czech House of Deputies “impressed” by opening ceremony of Baku European Games

Baku, June 14, AZERTAC “I was impressed by the magnificent opening ceremony of the First European Games,” Chairman of the House of Deputies of the Czech Republic Jan Hamacek has said as he met speaker of Azerbaijan`s parliament Ogtay Asadov. “The opening ceremony once again demonstrated how rich the Azerbaijani culture is and highlighted the country's role as a bridge between East and West.” “I have met with the Czech athletes. They are happy with the conditions created for them, and are also impressed by the spectacular opening ceremony,” said Mr Hamacek. Mr Asadov hailed Azerbaijani-Czech relations, and emphasized the significance of inter-parliamentary cooperation. The parliament speaker said Azerbaijan did it utmost to organize the inaugural European Games in an excellent manner.
