CITY CHAMPIONSHIP FOR CHESS TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ulaanbaatar chess championship among amateurs will run in several stages under auspices of the Citizens’ Representative Khural of the capital city. Co-organized by the City Council and the City’s Federation of Chess, the tournament’s first stage will run until November 10 in men and women divisions. The final stage will take place this December among top nine men and nine women players. The competition is open for those who do not have any chess titles or a rating above 2,000 points by Mongolia’s Chess Federation. Winners will be qualified to compete in the national chess championship for amateur players.
