Coaching programme course underway

Manama, May 17 (BNA): The National Coaching Programme’s Level 2 course got underway yesterday. The course is being conducted by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Centre, based in Juffair. Thirty coaches representing national sports clubs and associations from Bahrain and abroad are taking part in this week-long course, being organized in cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada. It is being presented by a group of qualified instructors, including Mohsin Ali, Ali Al Anzoor and Ali Hafed, as a number of subjects are brought up and are related to ethical decisions, strength and physical education, training planning and education. All the participants will undergo final examination at the end of the course, being supervised by Sports Training and Development specialist Hussain Ali Abbas. It is worth noting that the main objective of the National Coaching Programme is to qualify and develop sports officials of different sports organisations inside and outside Bahrain.
