D.Altansukh grabs silver medal in Samsun Grand Prix

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Judokas of our national team have captured two medals in the 2016 Samsun Grand Prix tournament, which was held last weekend in Turkey. International master of sports D.Altansukh won a "silver" in the men’s below 66kg contest. Until the finals, he had defeated his opponents from Turkey, Great Britain, Belarus and Russia. In the finals, he lost to S.Korean Kim Limhwan. Kh.Tsogtgerel IMS claimed a bronze medal in the men’s -100kg after defeating a judoka from the United Arab Emirates at the bronze medal match. He beat his rivals from Turkey and Belgium but was defeated by a Brazilian Rafael Buzacarini in the third preliminary round. Other judokas did not grab medals in this tournament.
