Dejagah: I will score against Bosnia

TEHRAN,June 25(MNA)-Iran attacking midfielder Ashkan Dejagah promised he will score against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup group stage on Wednesday. Dejagah, who had a great performance in Iran’s 1-0 defeat against Argentina, also believes that Iran can qualify for the Last 16. “I was not satisfied with my performance in the first match against Nigeria but in the second match it was completely different. We had a couple of chances and we were really unlucky to score against one of the best teams in the World. The referee made some decisions against us, that moment I was fouled by (Pablo) Zabaleta in the area was a clear penalty”, Dejagah told our correspondent in Salvador, Brazil in an exclusive interview. “We are still hopeful and all of the players have a great self-confidence after the match against Argentina. The third match against Bosnia is a must-win game for us. I promise to score in this match and hopefully we will qualify for the next stage. Dejagah also discussed his future and admitted he want to play in the Premier League again after his side (Fulham) relegated to Championship. “I’m focused on World Cup now but we will see what happens. I have some interests from Germany but I want to stay in England and play in the Premier League” Fulham midfielder said. Iran managed to grab a point from a goalless draw in the first match against Nigeria but lost in the second match to Argentina. Carlos Queiroz men will fight to beat Bosnia in the final group match to qualify. Bosnia has no hope after two defeats against Argentina and Nigeria.
