Double Win For Mostert At KL GP

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) -- Australia's Chaz Mostert claimed his second win of the V8 Supercars Street Challenge at the inaugural KL City Grand Prix, here Sunday. The Pepsi Maxx Crew team driver took the chequered flag in a time of 16 minutes and 15.327 seconds in the 11-lap race. Saturday, he won the race with a time of 16:12.920s. Mostert also posted the fastest lap time of 1:26.067s in the 10th lap. Following just 1.042s seconds behind him was New Zealand's Scott McLaughlin of Volvo Polestar Racing while three times V8 Supercars champion, Craig Lowndes of Red Bull Racing Australia came in third with a time of 16:17.186s. The V8 Supercars Street Challenge's final competition, Challenge 3, starts at 4 pm Sunday. -- BERNAMA
