Exciting Finals at Qatar's Junior Table Tennis Championship

Doha, February 07 (QNA) - Qatar's Junior Table Tennis Championship (Single and Double), which took place at the training center in Ras Abu Aboud, concluded today. Qatar's Sultan Al Kuwari was crowned champion of Qatar's Junior Table Tennis Championship in the single category after beating his teammate Abdullah Musa Almasi 3-1 in the final of the championship. In the double category, Sultan Al Kuwari was also crowned with his teammate Ibrahim Jubran as champions, after winning Al Wakrah Club Abdullah Abdul wahab and Ali Hamza Ali 3-0. In a match to determine the third and fourth place, Al Arabi duo won the bronze medal, after beating Al Ahli duo 3-0. The member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA), and the Chairman of the Competitions Committee Naji Al Aji crowned the winners of the first three positions after the end of the matches, as well as the final matches' referees. Al Aji congratulated all the winners of the first three places, stressing that those who worked hard deserve the podium, and called on all players to continue work to win more titles and championships with the club and the national team as well. Al Aji confirmed that the level of both single and double categories are very promising, adding we are happy with this competitive atmosphere and we hope that it will continue in the future, and that it will benefit the national teams.
