EYOF Baku 2019: Swimmers embark on medal quest

Baku, July 22, AZERTAC Swimmers have began their campaign to contest medals at the 15th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival - "EYOF Baku 2019". Held at the Baku Aquatics Centre, the competition will see swimmers in action in the 100m and 400m freestyle, 200m butterfly, 200m breaststroke, and 100m and 200m backstroke divisions on day 1. The qualifying events will be held in the morning session, while finalists and medalists will be decided in the evening session. The 15th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is being held in Baku from July 21-27. The event brings together 3,900 athletes from 48 countries who contest 135 sets of medals at 12 sports facilities.
