Fans to enjoy plenty of Burnout action Friday night at BIC

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Burnout takes centre stage for the penultimate time this Ramadan on Friday (Editor’s note: June 24) as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir. The meeting is the third for the holy month and it leads up to a grand finale scheduled for next week. Burnout has been a popular attraction over the past several weeks at "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East" and huge crowds are expected to turn up over the remaining two events. There is also a strong field of participants who come from Bahrain and the rest of the GCC. BIC is inviting all motorsport lovers to attend and be a part of the excitement. Action on Friday is scheduled to begin at 8pm and continue all the way up until midnight. Burnout will be happening along BIC car parks three to six. Those interested in taking part may register from 5pm to 7pm at car parks one and two. Entrants must meet specific eligibility criteria to take part and pay an entry fee of BD7 per driver. Those wishing to get a taste of the action as a passenger may do so for a fee of BD4. Spectators will be able to watch all the action free of charge. Burnout is open to motorsport enthusiasts of all skill levels. It offers a unique kind of thrill including the sight of rapidly rising white smoke and the smell of burning rubber. All the action takes place within a safe and controlled environment.
