Doha, November 08 (QNA) - FIA Women in Motorsport Commission held a meeting in Doha today. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Commission's training course hosted by Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF). 'Once again our hosts in Qatar have welcomed and supported our work and for this we give them great thanks," Michele Mouton. The week-long FIA Women in Motorsport-QMMF Women's Cross Country Selection culminated with the Women in Motorsport Commission meeting held yesterday, Saturday 7 November, in Doha. Chaired by President Michele Mouton and in the presence of QMMF President and FIA Vice President, Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, the members reviewed the cross country selection program and applauded the highly-professional organization by QMMF and its team. Everyone was in agreement that the program had been a great success and plans are now underway to help the winners with their on-going physical and practical training ahead of the 2016 Sealine Cross Country Rally. "We have just finished the first FIA Women Cross Country Selection and I am very happy for the good results that we have achieved but we have to keep on working together with the FIA and all the different members of the women commission to see how we can strengthen the participation of women , in all the areas, in motorsport', said Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah.
