FIFA President Joseph Blatter Insists Qatar Will Hold World Cup 2022

Manila, November 30 (QNA) - FIFA President Joseph Blatter said that holding the World Cup 2022 in the State of Qatar was finalized. Blatter stressed today during the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) awards in Manila that there was no need to reopen the Qatar's case for hosting the World Cup again. Qatar will be the first Arab country to host the World Cup. "Ladies and gentlemen, believe me, if we see what has been said, whats told around the world, its by those who are not involved exactly (in) what happens in football, The World Cup 2022 will be played in Qatar." Vice President of Qatar Football Association (QFA) led Qatar's delegation to the awards ceremony. Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Hassan Al Thawadi was also present. (QNA)
