FIFA president louds Confederations Cup organization

KAZAN, June 29. /TASS/. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who attended the first semi-final match of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup between Chile and Portugal in Russia’s Kazan on Wednesday, has highly assessed the organization of the tournament. The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup kicked off on June 17 to be through on July 2. Matches are held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Sochi. Infantino praised Russia for good organization of the tournament. "We have more complete picture. Great, beautiful stadiums. Great organization. The public is following the matches, coming to the stadiums," he said. On Wednesday, Kazan hosted a semi-final match between Portugal and Chile. The main time of the match ended in a scoreless 0-0 draw, which remained after two takes of the overtime period but the Chileans eventually recorded an impressive 3-0 win in the penalty shootout to secure the berth in the final match of the tournament this Sunday.
