FIFA Seminar for Referees Kicks Off in Doha

Doha, February 13 (QNA) - FIFA Seminar for Referees opened today at Al Wajba Hall at the Intercontinental Doha Hotel, hosted by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) until February 17th, in the presence of the Italian FIFA Chairman of Referees Committee Pierluigi Collina, and the Swiss Head of FIFA Refereeing Massimo Busacca. Chairman of the Qatar Referees Committee and vice chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee Hani Bllan and the Executive Director of Qatar Football Federations Arbitration Department Naji al-Juwaini will also take part in the seminar The seminar will be attended by a panel of lecturers and trainers and a large number of referees of the 39 member states of Football Confederations (CAF, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL), between 23 principal referees and 16 VAR referees. This is the second seminar, this year of the referees organized by FIFA and hosted by Doha, as Doha is hosting a VAR training for Women’s World Cup 2019 referees, France 2019, which is held from 4-15 of this month.
