FINA World Aquatics Convention Kicks off in Doha.

Doha, November 29 (QNA) - HE Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Saoud bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani expressed Saturday his delight at hosting FINA World Aquatics Convention in Doha. Speaking to Qatar News Agency on the sidelines of the convention, HE Secretary-General of Qatar Olympic Committee said that Qatar's success in hosting FINA World Swimming Championships next Wednesday and the 2019 World Championships in Athletics reflects the state's commitment to sport. His Excellency added that hosting competitions on that scale boosts development prospects. Especially that major projects were being established in preparation for those events. The convention is three-days long and takes place in Ritz Carlton. (QNA)
