Football for Development Workshop Kicks off

Doha, September 01 (QNA) - A training workshop for public school teachers belonging to the "Generation Amazing" program entitled "Football for Development", organized by National Commission for Education, Culture and Science in cooperation with Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education kicked off today and will continue until Tuesday. In a speech during the workshop, the Secretary General of the Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture and Science Dr. Hamda Hassan Al Sulaiti, affirmed the Qatari community's interest in football, pointing out to the need to employ this sport in the service of the goals and vision of Qatar National 2030 and its international aspirations. Al Sulaiti also thanked the efforts of all SC employees, and their cooperation with the department of physical education in the preparation of this workshop, and provided by the trainer Hamad Abdulaziz Mohammed. Dr. Hamda Al Sulaiti pointed to the interest of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in providing all the works and activities that contribute to creating an active generation. (QNA)
