Former Al-Sadd Star Talal Al Baloushi Announces His Retirement

Doha, December 26 (QNA) - Former Al-Sadd star Talal Al Baloushi on Thursday announced his retirement from football after many achievements throughout his career. At the beginning of the current season 2019-2020 Al Baloushi moved to Mesaimeer after he played for Al-Markhiya last season. Talal spent most of his illustrious career at Al-Sadd, recording several major achievements, including the 2011 AFC Champions League title and the bronze medal at the FIFA Club World Cup, held in Japan during the same year. This is an addition to the multiple domestic titles in his tally; he has won all the Qatari league, HH the Amir Cup, and Heir Apparent Cup. Talal's career at Al-Sadd began in the U-13 category, from where he progressed to the first team by the age of 16. He went on to win 14 domestic titles with the Wolves, while he also won gold with the Qatar national team at the 2006 Asian Games. (QNA)
