Four Azerbaijani wrestlers into semifinal on second day of EYOF Baku 2019

Baku, July 22, AZERTAC Four Azerbaijani wrestlers have qualified for the semifinal of the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival as wrestling competitions continue at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace. Freestyle wrestler Sabir Jafarov (60kg) has thrashed Hungarian Marcell Dely Dominik 10:0 and Belarus Anatoli Hramyka 12:1 to progress to the semifinal. His success was followed by Greco-Roman wrestler Gurban Gurbanov (48kg) who defeated Kacper Karaskiewicz from Poland 8:00 and Emin Cakir from Turkey 10:0 making it to the semifinal. Azerbaijani female wrestlers Gultakin Shirinova (46kg), Marziya Sadigova (61kg) also reached the semifinal after defeating Belarus Tatsiana Pertsava and Alina Kasabieva from Russia respectively.
