Grandiose international tournament on MMA in Osh

Osh, Sept.16, 2019 /Kabar/. The WEF 89 GLOBAL-15 grandiose tournament took place in Osh at the central stadium named after Akhmatbek Suyumbayev on Sept.15. 50 athletes from 12 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine and Slovakia participated in the tournament. Athletes competed in 11 weight categories, including three title matches for the World Kulatuu Federation (WEF) champions' belts. The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by First Deputy Mayor of Osh Sayibzhan Turduyev, MP Bakyt Torobayev, Chairman of the City Council Zhaparbek Ormonov, Kyrgyzstan’s Kickboxing Federation President Alexander Voyinov, President of the Asian Akhmat League Nadyr Kadyrov, WEF President Ruslan Kydyrmyshev, and Chairman of the Osh City Committee on Physical Culture and Sports Kylychbek Sarkarbayev. The organizers of the tournament are the WEF, Erem sports club, with the support of the Mayor's Office of Osh and the City Committee for Physical Culture and Sports.
