Haji Aliyev earns Azerbaijan`s 65th gold medal at Islamic Games President Ilham Aliyev presented medal to freestyle wrestler

Baku, May 20, AZERTAC Wrestler Haji Aliyev has sealed Azerbaijan`s 65th gold medal at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games as he triumphed in the men's freestyle 61kg event. He secured the medal thanks to a 10-0 victory over Kyrgyz Alibek Osmonov. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev, first lady, Chair of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games Organising Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched the final bout. Iranian Masoud Esmaeilpoorjouybari and Pakistani Abdul Wahab scooped bronze medals. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev presented the medals to the wrestlers. The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the flag was raised in honor of Haji Aliyev.
