HH Shaikh Khalid: Bahrain eying further achievements

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): BRAVE International Combat Week has continued providing hot excitement and challenges among fighters who are producing their maximum efforts to steal the limelight. Organised by Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) in collaboration with BRAVE Organisation and IMMAF-WMMAA, the event is taking place on November 10-16, 2019, at Khalifa Sports City's GYM and will feature the 6th edition of the Amateur World Championship and BRAVE 31 as well as KHK Open Championship. From his side, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee has continued supporting Bahraini fighters during the event, cheering them during their bouts. "We have watched strong fights with some fighters were cautious to don't make any fault and allow their opponents to take full control. This what has characterised most of the fights. I closely followed the Bahraini fighters' bouts and I focused on their potentials and capabilities. I realised that it's hard to predict the winner due to the enormous abilities of the fighters and the performances they showcased.", He said. HH Shaikh Khalid underscored that Bahrain is eyeing to accomplish further achievements in this event. Meanwhile, Bahraini fighters maintained their momentum in the event with Murad Ibrahimov defeated Chistian Torris of italy, while Murad Jassinov downed Russian Fanick Acobian. Moreover, Majumeed of Bahrain overcame Cabaw Kawkamuchi and his country fellow Sultan Omrov defeated British Christian Leroy. Other results include victories for Bahrain's Ramadan Jetinov and Murtadah Tahla over Quentine Papound of France and Serick Aerov of Kazakhstan respectively. Mum Jeed of Bahrain also secured a win in his bout over Swedish Danial Petros. In the women's fights, Breena Swaris of Bahrain defeated Swara Rahmanova of Kazakhstan. Bahraini fighter Sabrina De Suza also emerged victorious in her fight against Cloudia Sighou
