HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad congratulated

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Youth and Sports Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder congratulated His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Federation on the historic winning by Bahraini marathoner Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa of a bronze medal in (Beijing) in the People's Republic of China. The minister said the accomplishment comes in harmony with the huge support provided by the Kingdom's leadership evidenced by Bahrain's champions accomplishments over the past years commensurate with the constant development of all sports in Bahrain. Al Jowder said the accomplishment translates the supportive stance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee in supporting all Bahraini national teams, especially athletics teams, which culminated in various laudable sports feats. Similarly, the minister lauded the role of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in providing perfect atmospheres for Bahrain athletes and runners to accomplish such wonderful feats which attest to the level of growth and development attained by the mother-all-sports in terms of administrative and technical organisation. The minister praised champion Eunice's accomplishment who was able to emboss the Kingdom's name in the records of international championships. She has also painted a smile on everboy's countenance and placed Bahrain on a prestigious position in the arena of global sports. The minister said the bronze medal won by Eunice Kirwa will constitute a new launching of Bahraini athletics and gives everybody the incentive to march on the path of honorable accomplishments and to paint the best future for the mother-of-all-sports in the Kingdom.
