HM King congratulated by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, on the success of HM the king Endurance Cup and on the Raoud Stable clinching the title with the participation of Bahraini and Emirati riders. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad said that His Majesty's attendance reflects his interest in supporting and developing the equestrian sport and endurance races. He also highlighted the attendance of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which is a clear evidence of the significance of the tournament. He also welcomed the participation of Emirati riders who put more enthusiasm for the tournament. He pointed out that the tournament was a landmark on the map of Bahraini endurance races, which witnessed the participation of the juniors category. HH Shaikh Nasser praised the key role of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation chaired by Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in organizing the local championships, most notably the HM the king Endurance Cup, which greatly contribute to raising the performance of riders and getting them ready for external participations to accentuate Bahrain’s ranking in the international tournaments. Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation Chairman Shaikh Duaj bin Salman Al Khalifa also extended congratulations to HM the King, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, marking the achievement of the Victorious team as they won HM the King Open International Endurance Race – 160KM.
