Holding of IV World Nomad Games discussed in Turkey

Bishkek, Sept.26, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev and Minister of Youth and Sports of Turkey Mehmet Kasapoglu discussed the upcoming IV World Nomad Games, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported. The sides noted the readiness to sign the Agreement on holding the Fourth World Nomad Games. Minister Kasapoglu said in the near future the date and venue of the IV WNG will be announced. Omuraliyev and Kasapoglu reached an agreement on mutual cooperation and exchange of experience between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the field of sports. World Nomad Games are an international sport competition dedicated to ethnic sports practiced in Central Asia. The countries taking part in those games are the former Soviet republics of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Russia (especially Sakha, Buryatia, Altay, Kalmykia, Bashkortostan republics, etc.) as well as other countries like Mongolia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Philippines and the United States. The first three World Nomad Games were held in Kyrgyzstan’s Cholpon-Ata; however, Turkey has been announced as the host of the fourth games.
