III WNG: Kyrgyz national alysh team wins 8 medals

Bishkek, Sept. 04, 2018. /Kabar/. A tournament in alysh wrestling took place yesterday in the Physical Culture and Health Complex in Cholpon-Ata within the Third World Nomad Games. Best alysh wrestlers gathered to compete not only for the medals of the World Nomad Games, but also the title of world champion. In this type of wrestling 145 sportsmen from 35 countries fought for the prizes. The Kyrgyz national team is represented in all twelve weight categories among women and men, the press service of the State Agency for Sports reported. At the end of the competition among men Kyrgyzstani sportsmen won 4 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze. The gold medal was awarded to Esenbek Kudaiberdiev in the weight category up to 80 kilograms. Nevertheless, the bouts of Kyrgyz sportswomen were equally spectacular and successful: now there are four more medals in the Kyrgyz national team’s collection. 1 of them is gold, 2 – silver, and 1 – bronze. The winner is Nurzat Bakhtiyar kyzy. She competed in the weight category up to 65 kilograms.
