Iran’s water polo reaches final at Asian Championship

TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (MNA) – Iran’s Zarin Madan has reached final match, defeating Iranian representative at the 10th Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship. Zarin Madan water polo team encountered Naft Omidieh, Iran’s second representative at the 10th Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship, and defeated its opponent. So far, Zarin Madan gained victories over all its opponents, including Afghanistan 21-0 and Kuwait’s Al-Qadesiah 15-12. In its third contest, Zarin Madan could reach final by defeating its Iranian rival, Naft Omidieh, 19-13. Zarin Madan will face the winner of Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadesiah al-Khobar and Kazakhstan’s Astana in final match tomorrow. The 2014 Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship has brought eight teams together in Iran.
