Iran To Hold Pre-World Cup Training Camp In Austria

Berlin, April 19, IRNA -- Austria will be the venue for two separate training camps in May as Iran will prepare for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, according to the organizing team International Football Camp Styria. Iranˈs first training camp will be in the town of Bad Waltersdorf from May 12 through 21, proceeded by a second training camp in the town of Stegersbach from May 21 -30. As part of its World Cup warm up matches, Iran will play three friendlies, including against Belarus in the city of Kapfenberg on May 18, followed by encounters with Montengero on May 26 and Angola on May 30, both of them in the town of Hartberg. Triple Asian Cup winners Iran is placed in a tough World Cup group with football powerhouse Argentina, Bosnia and defending African champs Nigeria.
