Iran my favorite place to come, carol mushett Johnson says

TEHRAN,Feb.21(MNA)--The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) member Carol Mushett-Johnson said that she has always wanted to visit Iran. Speaking at the “Disabled & Sports for All” conference, Mushett Johnson said, “First of all, I have to thank Mr. Mahmoud Khosravi-Vafa, president of Iran Paralympic Committee, for his services to disabled athletes and it’s my pleasure to be invited to Iran.” “I remember the first time I wanted come Iran, I was told this is a big risk to go to the country but I have to say Iran is one of my favorite places. I am so happy to be here,” she said “Iranian disabled athletes have progressed over the past years and their performance is incredible. I remember when the Iranian disabled athletes won the medals in their first Paralympics, everybody said ‘who are they? Where they come from?’. In my opinion, so many people try to support these athletes and that’s why Iranian representatives are successful in the Paralympic Games,” she added. Mushett-Johnson, who is also chief executive Officer of disability charity Blazesports America said: “Blazesports programs impact the lives of ten of thousands children and adults with physical disabilities.”
