Iran overwhelms Denmark in Deaf Futsal World Cup

TEHRAN, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s female deaf futsal players could defeat Denmark 8-3 at the 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup in Thailand, and advanced to the next round. Attending international arenas for the first time, women futsal players subdued Denmark in their second match to reach the second round of the tournament together with Britain. Meanwhile, Iranian women's hearing-impaired futsal squad had previously conceded a nil-5 defeat to Britain in its first match. Iran is in Group D along with Britain and Denmark while Brazil, Germany and Norway form Group C of the competitions. Group B consists of Russia, Japan and Spain and Group A includes Italy, Sweden, Thailand and China.
