Iran Ranks 2nd At 2013 World Taekwondo Championships

Tehran, July 22, IRNA - Iranian national taekwondo team ranked second at the 2013 World Taekwondo Championships in Puebla, Mexico, on Monday. The Iranian athletes managed to snatched one gold and two silver medals to win the title. South Korean athletes bagged three gold and one silver medals and stood at the first place. Meanwhile, Mexican taekwondo fighters won one gold and two silver medals and ranked third at the competition. The 2013 World Taekwondo Championships opened on July 15 at Puebla’s exhibition center, bringing together more than 870 athletes from 134 countries and regions.
