Iran ranks third in Asian Greco-Roman wrestling competition

Astana, April 28, IRNA – Iranian wrestlers ranked third in the 24th Asian Greco-Roman wrestling championship in Astana, Kazakhstan on Sunday. After Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Iranˈs national team placed third with one gold medal, one silver and three bronze ones. Behnam Mahdizadeh won Iranˈs only gold medal in 130-kg weight category. Yousef Qaderian received silver medal in 80-kg weight class and Saeed Abdevali, Mojtaba Karimfar and Ali Aliyari won bronze medals in 75-, 85- and 98-weight categories respectively. end
