Iran, second best team at 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian men were introduced as the second-best team at the 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships in Manama, Bahrain. Iranian men’s team was put among the three best during the closing ceremony of the Asian event held in the Bahraini capital on Sunday evening. Uzbekistan and China were ranked first and third respectively at the weightlifting competitions. The ten members of the Iranian team won four gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals at the Asian contests. Also, Elham Hosseini, an Iranian female athlete, set a historic record after grabbing three gold medals at women’s 81kg competitions.
