Iran women win over Filipino volleyballists in Asian cup

TEHRAN, May. 03 (MNA) – Iran women volleyball team defeated Philippines in Asian U-23 Women’s Volleyball Championship. The Philippines lost the game in four sets (25-22, 25-22, 19-25, 25-20) against Iran on Friday, May 1, at the PhilSports Arena. Iran competes with Kazakhstan today for qualifying for next round of the tournament. The Asian Under-23 Volleyball Championship serves as the qualifying round for the 2015 FIVB Under-23 Volleyball World Championship in Ankara, Turkey.
