Iranian junior weightlifters bag gold, silver medals in Asian Competitions

Tehran, Nov 15, IRNA – Two Iranian weightlifters Alireza Davoudi and Mohammad Reza Roshani received a gold and a silver medal respectively in Asian Competitions in Japan. Iranian junior weightlifters bag gold, silver medals in Asian Competitions Iranian athletes competed with rivals from Uzbekistan, Japan, China and Saudi Arabia. Davoudi, in weight category of +94 kg, received a gold medal by setting the record of 155 and 166 kg in snatch. Mohammadreza Roshani got a silver medal and the Chinese athlete ranked 3rd and snatched a bronze medal. The tournament started with the attendance of some 222 weight lifters on Nov 11 in Tokyo, Japan and ends on Nov 16. 1378/IRNA
