Iranian Referee Wins Intl Gold Badge Chair Umpire

Tehran, Dec 28, IRNA – An Iranian referee obtained the gold badge chair umpire of the International Tennis Federation for the second time after five years. Ali Nili has had successful presence in the international tennis events including US Open, Wimbledon Championships, Australian Open Tennis Championships and the French Open. Nili is among six other referees from France, Ecuador, New Zealand, Australia and Brazil who hold gold badge umpire. The Iranian referee is the first gold badge chair umpire in Asia./end
