Iranian team third at Asian Fencing Championships 2022

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s saber team came third place and was awarded a bronze medal after winning Hong Kong in the classification match at the Asian Fencing Championships 2022 in South Korea. Losing 44-45 to Japan, the Iranian team with four members – Ali Pakdaman, Mohammad Fotoohi, Mohammad Rahbari, and Nima Zahedi – could not reach the final. Meanwhile, the saber team of Iran defeated Hong Kong 45-33 in the third-place playoff. The Asian Fencing Championships 2022 started in South Korea on June 10. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
