Iranian woman wins silver medal at 2022 Karate 1-Premier League

Rasht, IRNA – Sara Bahmanyar, an Iranian athlete, won the silver medal at the Baku 2022 Karate 1-Premier League in Azerbaijan. In female kumite -50 kg, Bahmanyar came second, a sport provincial official in Rasht, northern Iran, told IRNA on Monday. Bahmanyar reached the final after winning four kumites, Jahanbakhsh Arman said. According to Arman, Bahmanyar, 22, has had shining records in the world and Asian competitions so far. She clinched the championship title two times in Japan and Russia and won silver medals at the Spain, Kazakhstan, and Japan world events.
