Iran's Men National Kabaddi Team To Attend Int'l Championship In India

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA -- Head of Iran's national Kabaddi Federation Mohammad Reza Maqsoudlu said on Tuesday that Iran's men national Kabaddi team is to leave for India to attend international Kabaddi competitions. Iranian national Kabbadi team comprising 12 players will contest with other 16 teams but its real rivals will be from India and Pakistan, he said. He said that a new team lineup is to introduced during this year's international competition. The international competitions will be kicked off on Friday (November 30) and will last eleven days. "Iran's men national Kabaddi team ranks third in Asia and is to save the position in the world championship."/end
