Judo East Asian Championships to run in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 7th East Asian Men, Women and Team Judo Championships will take place on May 8-10 in the “Buyant-Ukhaa” sports complex, Ulaanbaatar city. The championships will attract judokas of Mongolia, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Guam. The competitions will run in the men’s and women’s seven weight categories each, and in the team contest. Organized by the East Asian Judo Federation (EAJF), the East Asian championships is hosted by Mongolia for the second time. Mongolia organized the competitions for 2006, where a State Honored Sportsman and World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar won a gold medal in the 66 kg.
