Judoists win gold medals in Baku Grand Slam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Judoists of the national selected team has won five medals in the Baku Judo Grand Slam running in Baku, Azerbaijan. On the first day of the competitions on Saturday, international masters of sports D.Amartuvshin and D.Tomorkhuleg grabbed gold medals in the men’s 60 and 66 kg contests, respectively. G.Otgontsetseg (women’s 48 kg), A.Tsolmon (women’s 52 kg) won silver medals; and D.Sumya (women’s 57 kg)—a bronze medals. In accordance with rules of the International Judo Federation (IJF), a winner of the Grand Slam competitions is awarded with 500 points for being qualified to compete in the Olympic Games.
