Judokas grab medals in European Open tournaments

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Judokas of our national team have won one gold and three bronze medals in the European Open tournaments, which ran February 27-March 1 in Poland and in the Czech Republic. In men -73kg division, an international master of sports G.Odbayar has grabbed the gold medal at the European Open for Men Judo ran in Warsaw of Poland; O.Duurenbayar IMS has won a bronze in men +100kg contest. G.Odbayar defeated opponents from the Czech Republic, Italy and Ukraine. In the final contest, he beat the South Korean. By the team results, the South Koreans have won three gold and two silver medals. They are followed by Uzbekistan (one gold, one silver and three bronze medals), Poland (one gold and two bronze medals) and Mongolia (one gold and one bronze medals). Other two bronze medal have been won at the women’s European Open ran in Prague by the State Honored Sportswoman M.Bundmaa and by Ts.Tserennadmid in 52kg and 63kg.
