Junior Azerbaijani chess player ranks 2nd at Nana Aleksandria Cup – 2014

Baku, July 23 (AzerTAc). Junior Azerbaijani female chess player Mehin Taba-Tabai has finished second in the 9th Nana Aleksandria Cup – 2014 in Poti, Georgia. The event was organized by Local Management of Poti, Georgian Chess Federation and Chess and Draughts complex sport school of Poti “Nana”. The Festival brought together 244 players from 12 countries, including 9 grandmasters. The general sponsor Pasha Bank provided the prize for the first place in Open A – 4000 GEL, as well as a special prize for the best Azerbaijan chess player – 1000 GEL.
