Kentucky Horse Park hosts Fatima bint Mubarak Apprentice World Championship tomorrow

Kentucky, 17th May, 2015 (WAM) -- The Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, will host the US$ 25,000 HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Apprentice World Championship (IFAHR) tomorrow. The first leg of the Mother of the Nation Mundial is being staged as part of the seventh edition of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival. Ten male and female riders from across the world will compete in the race. The Festival is organised under the directives of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood. The 2015 calendar will include 14 races in the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup, 14 races in the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship, nine races in the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Apprentice World Championship (IFAHR) and 65 races in the Wathba Stud Farm Cup. – Emirates News Agency, WAM - http://www.wam.ae/en/news/sports/1395280651880.html
