Khalid bin Hamad attends toss up

Las Vegas, July 6 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) attended the procedures of participating teams , registration, medical checkup, official weight determination and toss up protocol ceremony of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. His Highness praised the huge efforts of the IMMAF in organizing this championship for the second year consecutively, expressing His Highness's delight at Bahrain's participation as the first Gulf and second Arab country in this major international sport event which will have its positive impact in boosting and developing mixed martial arts locally. The second edition of the championship started at 11:00 a.m. (U.S. standard time) in L.V. and continues until Saturday which coincides with the U.S. National Day anniversary (4 July). 160 fighters from the Kingdom of Bahrain, U.S.A, Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Lebanon, Japan, India, Poland, Belgium, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Ukraine, Portugal, Finland, Germany, Czech, Italy, Canada, Austria, France, Bulgaria, Sweden, Romania and South Africa are participating in the championship.
