KHK MMA fighters start new challenge

Manama, June 27 (BNA): Two stars from Bahrain’s KHK MMA have had their fight dates announced, as Eldar Eldarov (7-0) and James Gallagher (3-0) prepare to face their next opponents in the coming weeks. Another great achievement powered by His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad as KHK MMA irish prospect makes his debut in one of the most respected MMA promotions. Irishman James Gallagher, who was recently signed by Bellator MMA promotion, will fight Mike Cutting (6-5) on July 16th, at the O2 Arena in London for Bellator 158. Eldarov will fight on August 5, against "The Showstopper" Peter Queally in India. This will be the biggest stage Gallagher has ever fought on and he will feature first on the main card alongside superstars Paul Daley, Francis Carmont and Michael "Venom" Page. Gallagher was clear about his ambitions when he arrived in Bellator and took to social media to let everyone know: I’m here to take the gold. And the confident Irishman, who has worked with UFC Champion Conor McGregor in the SBG gym, believes that this is the perfect stage for him to shine and take the limelight away from the other stars. He said: "The big stage that Bellator offers, it’s all I ever dreamed of. I’m bringing my training to a whole new level and I will let my fight do the talking on July 16th. I will steal the show!" The "Strabanimal", who hails from Northern Ireland is a submission specialist with all his wins so far coming via submission. The same can also be said for KHK MMA’s Russian juggernaut Eldar Eldarov, who has won five straight fights via submission. He will fight an Irishman in India, SBG Ireland’s Peter Queally (8-2), who has never been finished and represents a tough test for Eldarov, who likes to finish his opponents. But Eldarov, whose sole defeat came to the undefeated UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, is confident that if he puts all his tools together he can hand Queally his first stoppage loss. "I can finish him, of course," he said. "But I expect a tough fight from a very tough fighter, and I have trained to go the full distance if I need to." Eldarov added: "I’m looking to get in his face early, and try to get the fight finished early, as I always do. But who knows, he might not break as easily as my other opponents.
