King's youth, sports advisor congratulates SCY chairman

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): The Advisor of HM the King for Youth and Sports, Saleh Isa Bin Hindi, congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), on achieving the eighth positon in IronMan Championship in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, with the participation of 1200 contestants. The advisor congratulated His Highness on Bahrain's team winning the first position among the competing teams and professionals and the achievement of Ben Hoffman member of Bahrain Endurance Team 13 and the team's qualification for the upcoming World Championship in Croatia. He considered the achievement an addition to the series of achievements of Bahraini sports under the patronage of Kingdom's leadership, with the generous support and care of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa that paved the solid ground for boosting the kingdom's position on the international sports arena in this type of sport. Bin Hindi praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Bahrain's triathletes for their persistence and insistence on inscribing the name of Bahrain in gold letters at this major event.
