Kuwait Denies Visas For Iranian National Squash Team

Tehran, May 1, IRNA – Iranian National Squash Team was unable to take part in Asian Championship Cup due to sabotage by the Kuwaiti government in issuing visas for them. According to Iran’s Squash Federation, the team was unable to fly to Kuwait last night for the competitions due to the host country’s failure to issue visas. The Iranian officials have already asked the Asia Squash Confederation to take necessary measures to tackle the problem so that the team leaves for Kuwait Monday noon. Iran’s Squash Federation has said that it will refer the case to National Olympic Committee if Kuwait repeats the act./end
