Kyrgyz boxer captures silver at int’l tournament in Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Nov.12, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Islam Kenzhebayev won the bronze medal at the international boxing tournament, Kazakhstani media reported. The competitions were held last weekend in Aktobe. The Kyrgyz boxer competed in the weight category under 60 kg. He fought three fights, two of which were victories. In the struggle to reach the finals, he lost to silver medalist Shukelov. As a result, Kenzhebayev sat on the third step of the podium, taking the bronze.
