Kyrgyz national weightlifting team leaves for Thailand for World Championships

Bishkek, Sept.18, 2019./Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s national weightlifting team left for Thailand for Worlds Championship, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported. The tournament is taking place in Pattaya on Sept.16-28. Kyrgyzstan is represented by Izzat Artykov (67kg) and Bekdoolot Rasulbekov (96kg) under the leadership of coaches Kambar Toktonaliyev and Omurzhan Moldodosov. Olympic weightlifting, often simply referred to as weightlifting, is an athletic discipline in the modern Olympic program in which the athlete attempts a maximum-weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates.
