Kyrgyzstan's Kamchybekov captures bronze at Powerlifting World Cup

Bishkek, Sept.27, 2019./Kabar/. Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Adilet Kamchybekov won the third place at the Powerlifting World Cup in Japan, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported. The tournament for athletes with musculoskeletal disorders was held on Sept. 25-27 in Tokyo. Within the framework of the competition, 19 sets of awards for men and women were drawn. Representatives of the 12 countries competed for the prizes. Kyrgyzstan’s Paralympic athlete performed in the weight category over 107 kg. Kamchybekov conquered 175 kilograms, thus becoming a bronze medalist. The first place was taken by representative of South Korea Chun Ken Bae (221 kg). The silver medalist was Iago Gorgodze from Georgia (200 kg).
