L.Tortogtokh grabs gold medal in Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A master of sports L.Totogtokh has captured a gold medal in the 7th international freestyle wrestling Grand Prix that is running in Russian Yakutsk in a memory of Dmitriy Korkin coach. In the men’s under 86kg bout, he beat an Azerbaijani in the semi-finals, then defeated Andre-Viktor Frant of Romania in the finals. Together with the "gold" he received a cash prize of 3,000 US dollars, his coach O.Purevbaatar--USD 1,000. Mongolia was also represented at the tournament by B.Nemekhbayar IMS (61kg) and D.Gonbodorj IMS (74kg). The events will finish on Monday.
